Robert A.B. Ervin II is a U.S. Air Force veteran whose career spans military communications, government IT operations, law enforcement technology, and nationwide field engineering. He founded FlowState Technical Solutions to bring military-grade discipline and real-world field experience to government and commercial technology services.

With 2.5 years of direct IT support embedded within the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop S, Robert served as the primary technical point of contact — providing hands-on training, IT infrastructure support, and vehicle electronics integration for an active law enforcement operation. This ground-level experience gives FlowState a firsthand understanding of what public safety agencies and professional businesses actually need from their technology partners.

Robert also brings extensive hands-on experience building law enforcement vehicles from start to finish — including OHP Tahoes, Durangos, Airbots, and motorcycles. From full electrical upfitting to installing and troubleshooting recording systems, antenna systems, P25 communications, lighting control modules, and in-car IoT equipment — all performed independently with no supervision.
